I received my PhD in Mathematics from CINVESTAV-IPN, Mexico, in May 2016, under supervision of Prof. Rafael H. Villarreal. Thanks to a Swiss Excellence Scholarship Award, part of my PhD studies, from September 2014 to September 2015, were made in University of Neuchatel, Switzerland, under supervision of Prof. Elisa Gorla. My PhD thesis focussed on coding theory from an algebra point of view. Now I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Clemson University, where I am part of the fantastic RTG Group. My postdoctoral research is partially supported by a personal grant from the Mexican National Science Foundation ( CONACyT ).
